I am starting this blog in memory of my sister, Alicia.
She was an amazing woman who accomplished more in her short life than most people ever do. She was passionate, strong, brave, loving, beautiful, and talented. Alicia was an incredible sister, daughter, and friend. She is very missed.
Please feel free to post any memories, thoughts, and pictures of Alicia.

Kristen, I am so happy that you are doing this blog. Please post lots of pics and stories. It will keep Alicia close to our hearts and continue her memory. She was an amazing woman. Thank you for sharing your sister with all of us. All my love.

Thankyou, Kristen, for doing this. Alicia was my Christmas present in 1983. She was born just days before and came home on Christmas Eve. She spoke her mind even then--she screamed all the way home from the hospital! She slept all day but was awake all night for months. I love my daughters....Mom
ReplyDeleteAlicia Was such a talented writer and a determined human being. I remember the first time I saw her she was in high school and I was in college and Im like that is the hottest girl I have ever seen in my life. Then after getting to know her she showed me some of her writing, and I was dumbfounded by how intelligent she was. I love you Alicia and will never forget you...Dave
ReplyDeleteI went to high school and cheered with Alicia. I just realized today it's been six years since she passed. We weren't super close, but I remember how happy, positive and sweet she always was. I'm just so sad that she suffered such a terrible illness and that the world has been without a shining star all these years. I wish she could still be here, experiencing all the wonderful things life has to offer. It's just heartbreaking and I can't imagine your familiy's pain... I'm so sorry.
